Borrowing Limits

Berkeley

No limits for faculty, staff or students. Alumni and community borrowers have a limit of 20 items charged out at a time.

Davis

Staff, faculty and students are limited to 300 items. Limits for external borrowers are 5 (alumni, teachers, etc.) and Friends Groups (Library Associates) to 10.

Irvine

No limits for faculty, staff or students. Off-Campus Users - 25 items; K-12 - 10 items; High School - 5 items

Riverside

No limits for UC faculty, staff or grad students. Undergrads - unlimited books and bound journals. No unbound journals. For UCR faculty, staff, and students only, LINK+ books are unlimited.  Non UC faculty (Calif. + OCLC) - limited to 10 items, no journals. UC Alumni and UCR Extension - unlimited books, no journals. 5 items to all other user groups, no journals.

San Diego

Faculty, staff, or students limited to 100; external limited to 25

San Francisco

Faculty, staff, and students limited to 20 items. Other UC borrowers limited to 10 items. Alumni and external borrowers limited to 5 items. All users allowed up to 5 maximum renewals as long as there are no pending holds or patron blocks.
