Libraries & Scholarly Communication

The current models for scholarly publishing are no longer economically sustainable. See what the UC libraries are doing to foster change in scholarly communication.

Universitywide Planning & Action

The University of California libraries work together to expand the scope of their collections, improve access to information, and develop alternative modes of scholarly communication. That work is guided by a strategic plan, released in June 2004.

Ongoing assessment activities are a continual part of strategic planning. See the assessment page for more details.
