Overview:
The UC Libraries Digital Preservation Working Group (DPWG) is charged by the Direction and Oversight Committee (DOC) to develop a framework for digital preservation for the UC Libraries focused on services, tools, and products in this area. The DPWG existed as the Digital Preservation Leadership Group (DPLG) from 2021-2024 as part of the University of California Libraries Advisory Structure (UCLAS). The DPWLG transitioned to a working group status from a Leadership Group in May 2024. The DPWG’s 18 month charge can be found here:
