Berkeley

  • Yes; after becoming 13 days overdue or 10 days after recall if item is recalled before an Overdue Notice is produced; Fac not affected. 1 day items blocked 2nd day and same day; materials blocked 1st day.

Davis

  • Suspended after recall billing; not blocked for overdues. Privileges are suspended if replacement bills not paid within 90 days or if processing fees are unpaid (non- faculty only) after 90 days.

Irvine

Los Angeles

  • All users blocked from self-renewal and check-out when an item is billed for replacement or when a recalled item becomes overdue. Staff can override blocks temporarily to assist user, but block remains until item is returned.

Merced

Riverside

  • Patron blocked at 2 wks overdue or for overdue recall. Overridden at supervisor discretion. Blocked at 21 days overdue for billing, no privileges until books returned. Faculty not blocked

  • On-campus borrowers: Yes after 4 days overdue. Off- campus borrowers are blocked when any item is overdue.

Santa Barbara

  • Patrons blocked when library material is 1 day overdue; Patron blocked when account considered non-collectable.
