Title: CoUL endorses the phase 4 shared governance structure
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to report that the Council of University Librarians (CoUL) endorsed the phase 4 shared governance structure at their meeting last week. The governance documents are now available on the UC Libraries website.
The Direction and Oversight Committee (DOC) is seeking nominees and appointments for the phase 4 cohort positions that have not yet been filled (as announced on SILS-News, the Implementation Coordinators and Project Manager Operation Leads charges were endorsed in January and efforts to staff these groups commenced earlier this month). If you are interested in participating in phase 4, please let your DOC member know.
As noted earlier, there will be a DOC-sponsored webinar on SILS shared governance and other SILS topics on March 5th at 2 pm (stay tuned for more information!).
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email AskSILS-L@listserv.ucop.edu.
Best,
The SILS Working Group
