Consisting of the University Librarian from each campus and the Executive Director of the California Digital Library, the Council of University Librarians (CoUL) provides collaborative leadership and strategic planning for the UC Libraries.
CoUL develops combined strategies for optimizing the strengths of the 11-partner UC Libraries coalition. Together, council members empower the UC Libraries to provide access to the world’s knowledge and develop innovative services, strategies, and technological systems that promote discovery and preserve knowledge.
